After BBL

Things to Consider After BBL

- The BBL process is basically shaping of the butt by injecting fat taken from other parts of the body. Those fats are usually removed from the abdomen, waist and back areas.

- After the procedure, when you wake up, you will be in bed your face down in order to keep the shape. We also recommend that you sleep face down for at least 15 days.

- Again, you should not sit on your butt for the first 15 days to maintain shape. You need to sit with the butt pillow we give you under your legs so that your butt stays outside. There is nothing stopping you from standing.

- Some possible fluid leakage from liposuction areas just after the procedure is an expected situation.

- The next morning, before you leave the hospital, we will help you to shower.

- We recommend washing with the corset in the first week. Because if you take it off, you might have trouble wearing it. The corset can be dried with a hairdryer after bath. After the first week, you can shower without the corset.

- Your butt may appear too large in the early period after the procedure. Do not worry. Approximately 40-50% of the fat injected into the butt area is absorbed by the body in the first 6 months. The remainder will stay for life and we usually try to increase the remaining fat it by over-injecting at the beginning.

- It will take 6 months for your butt to take its final shape.

- Wear the corset for at least 6 weeks after the procedure.

- You can start walking whenever you feel good and ready after the procedure. Walking will help to reduce edema.

- Heavier sports can be done after completing the 2nd week.

- Please don’t smoke at least 2 weeks after the procedure. Smoking increases the loss of injected fat.
